The nomination of officers for the position of Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer will be made at the Southern Section meeting in Birmingham on September 24, 2016. Ballots will be mailed out by October 5, 2016, and returned by November 5, 2016.
Each member of the Southern Section will be mailed a ballot. Each member will place an X in the box on their ballot next to the name of their choice or write-in a name for the office of Vice president, and/or Secretary and/or Treasurer and then mark that box. The ballot will then be placed in a small envelope, sealed and placed in a large self-addressed, stamped envelope. Members will then write their ABAnumber and return address on the outside of the large envelope.
The ballot will then be mailed to the Elections Chairperson, Johnnie Saunders at the following address: Johnnie Saunders, P.O. Box 3409, 10810 Boyette Road, Riverview, FL 33568
The deadline to return mail-in ballots is November 5, 2016. All ballots will be opened and counted during the Southern Section tournament in Atlanta in January, 2017. Members who do not mail in their ballot will be allowed to vote on-site in Atlanta, 2017.
